Clothing Store To Open County's 1st Branch This Week
The casual wear retailer UNIQLO will open its new location at Annapolis Mall this week. Here's what you need to know.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A popular casual wear clothing store is opening at Annapolis Mall this week, marking its first branch in the county.
UNIQLO will officially kick the doors open at its new location on Friday at 10 a.m. The new store can be found on the mall's first floor, near the Starbucks.
Grand opening festivities will be hosted by organizers through the weekend and include a variety of giveaways to the first 300 customers.

Those goodies include:
- Free UNIQLO knot bag filled with a mix of store items. (Throughout the weekend)
- Free tote bag featuring custom artwork by artist Kim Howell for anyone making in-store purchases of more than $99. (Throughout the weekend)
- Exclusive promotions on favored products, including the washable knitted Polo sweater, ultra stretch AIRism UV protection full-zip hoodie, premium linen shirt, ribbed cropped bra top, AIRism cotton crew neck t-shirt. (Throughout the weekend)
- Free duffel bag for active military with an in-store purchase of $99 or more. (Throughout the weekend, must present military ID)
- Breakfast vouchers for customers who buy any item in the store. (Friday only)
While Taiko drum performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 9:50 a.m., the Sunday show will take place at 10:50 a.m.

The store will also include its classic UTme! in-store, print-on-demand service that will feature five unique Annapolis-geared designs.
Not only does UNIQLO's opening mark the first site in the county, but it will also serve as the brand's fifth location in the state.
Customers will be able to visit the store anytime from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Doors stay open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
