Coast Guard Crew Rescues Boaters on Back Creek
A boat began taking on water on Back Creek near Annapolis Thursday, the Coast Guard and other agencies responded.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Two boaters were rescued by the Coast Guard Thursday after their boat vessel began taking on water in Back Creek near Annapolis.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Maryland-National Capital Region received a report from a towbaot that a boat was taking on water.
A 29-foot Response Boat-Small boat crew from Coast Guard Station Annapolis was launched to the scene. Crews from Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Anne Arundel Police Department and AAC Fire Department also launched.

The Coast Guard boat crew worked to empty the boat of water and escorted it to the Bert Jabin Yacht Yard in Annapolis.
