New Bridal Shop Opened By Anne Arundel County Pastor
A preacher opened a new boutique in Annapolis. The Anne Arundel County fashion designer is also the senior pastor at a Glen Burnie church.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A local preacher recently opened a new boutique named Craig Coates Haute Couture in Annapolis. The store specializes in wedding gowns, custom suits and prom dresses.
The shop gets its name from its founder, Craig Coates. The Riva resident is the senior pastor at Fresh Start Church & Family Life Conference Center in Glen Burnie.
Coates is known for his religious work in Anne Arundel County. He is a chaplain for the Annapolis Police Department and a staff pastor at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care in the state capital. The bishop also lectures around the country through his church consulting firm, Growth Matters LLC.

Along with his spiritual leadership, Coates is a popular fashion designer.
"Fashion design brings art directly to your skin," the bridal shop said on its website. "It shows not just who you are but the values that make you who you are."

The store held its grand opening on Aug. 6. Coates said he sold out of his brand that day, but he has since restocked.
"THANK YOU EVERYONE," Coates said on Facebook. "WHAT AN AMAZING CELEBRATION! Just too many names to call but you know who you are!"
The shop is located in the Gardner Center at 1910 Forest Drive, Suite 2A. It is open Mondays through Fridays by appointment only. The retailer is open for walk-ins every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
