Driver Killed In Pasadena Crash Identified By Police
Authorities have released the name of a Glen Burnie pickup truck driver who died in a crash on a Pasadena highway.

PASADENA, MD — Authorities have released the name of a Glen Burnie driver who died in a crash on a Pasadena highway. According to Anne Arundel County Police, Donald Paul Nadwodny, 70, of the 1700 block of Marley Avenue, died Thursday night in a one-vehicle crash on MD-100.
Nadwodny's 2006 Mitsubishi Raider pick-up truck was eastbound before the merge with MD-10 in Pasadena when the truck swerved to the right and went off the roadway, striking a tree. Witnesses reported they saw the truck driving erratically before the crash, although investigators do not believe Nawodny was driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was taken by Anne Arundel County Fire Department responders to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with critical injuries, where he was later pronounced dead. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Police say the preliminary cause of the crash was Nadwodny's failure to remain in a single lane. It does not appear that excessive speed or alcohol are contributing factors. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
