Drug Dog Finds Heroin, Crack Cocaine Hidden in Wipes: Police

Two Baltimore men face charges of allegedly selling crack cocaine and heroin found in their car by an Anne Arundel County drug dog.

BROOKLYN PARK, MD — Hiding crack cocaine and heroin in a container of cleaning wipes didn't fool an Anne Arundel County Police drug dog, and two Baltimore men face drug charges as a result, officials say.

Police patrolling the Brooklyn Park area on Saturday night reportedly saw a white Honda Accord making a left turn from Ritchie Highway onto Townsend Avenue, heading the wrong way on the one-way street. Police stopped the car and called a drug detection dog, which signaled that there were drugs in the vehicle.

A Clorox wipes container in the car had a false bottom under the cloth wipes. Inside the compartment were 17 $20 vials of crack cocaine, 15 $10 bags of heroin and a baggy containing an estimated 6.5 grams of crack cocaine, police say. Two scales were also found in the vehicle.

Police said that when they searched Cunningham at the police station, officers found about 3 grams of crack cocaine in his sock, and $486 in cash.
