Drunk Driver Crashes Into State Trooper's SUV In Annapolis: Police
An Annapolis man faces drunk driving charges after he reportedly crashed into a Maryland State Police SUV and hurt the trooper driving.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Authorities say an allegedly drunk driver hit a Maryland state trooper's patrol car Monday night in Annapolis. The trooper was treated at a local hospital, while the impaired driver was arrested, according to Maryland State Police.
Michael Osley of Annapolis was driving a 2006 Honda Element just before 8 p.m. last night when he reportedly failed to stay in his lane while taking the ramp from southbound Route 665 to eastbound Riva Road. Trooper Thomas Yurkevich was on routine patrol driving near Route 665/Aris T. Allen Boulevard and Riva Road. Osley's car struck the front passenger side of the trooper's SUV.
Police arrested Osley and charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, negligent driving and other traffic violations. Osley was not hurt in the crash.

Yurkevich, who is assigned to the Annapolis Barrack, was taken by the Anne Arundel Fire Department to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.
Emergency medical service personnel responded to the scene along with troopers from the Annapolis Barrack. Osley was subsequently placed under arrest at the scene and taken. to the Glen Burnie Barrack for processing.
