Off-Duty Firefighter Saves 3 From Blaze During Commute: Report
An Anne Arundel County firefighter saved three people from a burning building during his morning commute, a report said.
GETTYSBURG, PA — Anne Arundel County Firefighter Chris Williams was driving to work Monday morning when he saw two buildings on fire in Gettysburg Pennsylvania, CBS 21 News reported.
Though it was early, CBS said Williams and another off-duty firefighter paused their separate commutes to save three lives. CBS noted that Williams and his partner, Cashtown Volunteer Firefighter Michael Six, pulled two women and one man from the flames.
"Anyone of us firefighters would have done the same exact thing," Williams told CBS." I just happened to be at the right place at the right time."

The news outlet added the fire started after a car crashed into an apartment building and two shops. The unidentified driver died soon after, Journalist Michael Gorsegner informed.
