Heroin Dealers Charged in Anne Arundel, Baltimore Raid: Police

A Baltimore couple is charged with selling heroin, violating gun laws in a raid led by Anne Arundel County's heroin task force.

BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore couple accused of selling heroin were arrested Friday and face numerous drug-trafficking and weapons charges, authorities say. During the raid, police seized drugs, firearms and ammunition, including: 10 bags of heroin with a weight 5 grams each for an estimated street value of $550; $1,916 in cash; and a loaded semi-automatic AR-15 rifle.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force, which includes the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, the Annapolis City Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department, with the assistance of Baltimore Police SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 800 Block of East Jeffrey Street in Baltimore City. The search and arrests came after a two-month investigation into narcotics trafficking from the house, say Anne Arundel County Police.

During the raid police seized drugs, firearms and ammunition, including three shotguns, two rifles, two handguns — one a stolen Prince George's County service weapon — and six ammunition magazines along with boxes of ammunition holding dozens of rounds.
