Heroin Dealers Doing Business Out of Mall Food Court: Police

Men from Severn and Glen Burnie face narcotics charges for reportedly selling drugs at the Annapolis Mall food court, police say.

Investigators looking into a theft report came across two suspects reportedly selling heroin at Annapolis Mall.

Anne Arundel County Police were called to a theft report Monday afternoon in the 100 block of Jennifer Road in Annapolis. Police learned that the suspects staying at the address were possibly involved in drug distribution in the food court at Annapolis Mall.

Officers found two men matching the suspects’ description at the food court, and recovered 11 small baggies each containing suspected heroin, one small bag of cocaine, a small bag of the narcotic “MDMA” and marijuana.

When investigators executed a search warrant, they found and seized drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were charged with possession and distribution of narcotics.

The suspects are Tahzay Lamont Brown, 25, of 7985 Cross Creek Drive in Glen Burnie, and Leonard Lee Simms, 25, of 8160 Meade Village Circle in Severn, police say.
