Romeo's Pizza Employees Outwit Robbers: Police
Quick-thinking employees lured armed robbers out of the business and locked the door behind them, authorities say.

Quick-thinking employees of Romeo’s Pizza in Odenton convinced armed robbers to look outside the restaurant for a manager, and then locked the suspects out.
Once the two men realized they’d been tricked and couldn’t get back into the pizzeria, they fled, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The robbery attempt was reported just before 10 p.m. Tuesday at the pizza place, 8389 Piney Orchard Parkway.
Store employees told police the suspects entered the business carrying a handgun and demanded money. The employees convinced the suspects to leave the store in search of the store manager, locking the door behind them. No injuries were reported and nothing was taken.

The first suspect was described as a black man wearing a dark scarf covering his face, a black and gray jacket, black gloves and khaki pants.
The second suspect was described as a black man, about 300 pounds, wearing a gray hat, a black and gray scarf, gray coat, khaki pants and armed with a handgun.
