Holy Week at Heritage Baptist

Heritage Baptist Church (1740 Forest Drive, Annapolis) invites you to join them for Holy Week 2015. They have a variety of activities for worship, reflection and celebration.

Sunday, March 29 - Palm Sunday

9:15 am Bible Study

10:30 am Worship - Palm Sunday Children’s Processional- Special Music - Sermon: “What Happened at the Cross.”

Note: for the Palm Sunday Children’s Processional, all children (members and visitors) are invited to gather in the narthex before the service. Children will line up and receive a palm frond. As worship begins, the children will enter the sanctuary and place fronds on the altar.

Wednesday, April 1 - Easter Vespers

5:45 pm Fellowship Dinner

6:15 pm Easter Vespers - “From Cross to Crown”

HBC’s weekly vespers is a service of evening prayer and discussion. We have open conversation on the topic of the week, in advance of the Sunday sermon. All are welcome.

Thursday, April 2 - Maundy Thursday

7 pm - “Nailing our Burdens on the Cross” - Special Music - Candlelight service - Communion

Although this is a solemn service, it is open to all ages. No childcare provided on this evening.

Saturday, April 4 - Family Easter Celebration

10 am to 12 pm - Our very-popular annual Egg Hunt and party! Snacks, crafts, games and an Egg Hunt beginning at 11:30 am for toddlers-3rd graders. All activities and snacks are free and everyone is invited.

Sunday, April 5 - Easter

9:15 am - Bible Study for all ages

10:30 am - Easter Worship - “The Unfinished Drama of Resurrection” - Special Music - Communion
