UPDATE: Suspect Photos Released from Howard Bank Robbery
Anne Arundel County Police have released surveillance photos of a man who reportedly robbed Howard Bank in Annapolis.
(Updated at 4 p.m.) ANNAPOLIS, MD — Authorities have released surveillance images of a man who reportedly robbed Howard Bank, 116 Defense Hwy. 3100 in Annapolis, about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses say the suspect entered the bank, implied he had a handgun and demanded money.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the area on foot. Several officers, including the canine unit and the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office, searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Police say the suspect is described as a black man in his 50s, about 5’10, average build, wearing dark clothing.
