MARYLAND — As Hurricane Ida rocked Louisiana, a Maryland chef served meals to the affected residents. First responders then saved three lost dogs when the storm reached the Old Line State.
In other news, a Harford County school won a national award. Business was also booming at a pair of malls that celebrated achievements. Plus, two employers were honored by Forbes, and a new international route started at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
