Job Fair for Maryland Live! Casino to Be Held in Annapolis

Hiring managers from Live! Casino & Hotel will be on-site to interview job candidates; positions at the new Live! Lofts are also open.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The City of Annapolis, in cooperation with Live! Casino & Hotel, will host a job fair next month to hire employees for the Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover. The general public is encouraged to attend.

Recruiters and hiring managers from Live! Casino & Hotel will be on-site to interview candidates for full- and part-time opportunities across all departments, including food and beverage, security, casino operations, and facilities operations.

Positions at the new Live! Lofts are also open, including front desk, housekeeping, drivers and sales opportunities.

The job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at the Pip-Moyer Community Recreation Center, located at 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis.

Developers are building a $200 million hotel on the Hanoverproperty. The 350,000-square-foot complex will feature a 17-story hotel tower, making it the tallest building in Anne Arundel County, with 310 guest rooms, an event center, meeting spaces, new dining options, and a day spa/salon.

Project completion is slated for the first quarter of 2018, according to casino owners the Cordish Global Gaming Group.

The Cordish Companies says the hotel will be located adjacent to Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills and add new dining options at the site. The construction project is expected to create about 400 new jobs for area residents and 550 construction jobs for the region.

The hotel will include:

  • A 17-story tower that will be the tallest building in Anne Arundel County
  • 310 luxury guestrooms, including 52 Suites, featuring warm wood colors with accents of polished ebony
  • Grand Event Center
    • 1,500-seat concert venue
    • Built-in performance Sstage
    • State-of-the-art audio/visual and seating systems
    • Banquet seating capability up to 800
  • 24-hour café with options for open kitchen viewing and community seating
  • Gelato bar offering expertly crafted espresso, coffee drinks, fresh-baked pastries, and a variety of Italian specialty gelato.
  • Signature lobby bar with more than 50 seats
  • A luxury day spa and salon, including a state-of-the-art fitness center
  • About 1,000 additional parking spaces
