CROWNSVILLE, MD — Students with Rockbridge Academy not only have been hard at work learning from home during the school closure due to the coronavirus, they've also creatively found a way to thank health care workers and first responders on the front line. The kids, with a little help from some adults, created messages that were assembled into a collage to express their gratitude.

“All of our service is in response to Christ's love for us. As recipients of this love, we are called to serve others. It is super easy for me to get caught up in how hard quarantine is, but when I think of how much harder it is for others, I am thankful," said junior Sarah Daly in a news release.

In addition to online courses, students with Rockbridge Academy have gathered online for club meetings and Bible study. They've also written letters to hospitalized coronavirus patients, connected with isolated elderly and collected baby supplies for an Annapolis community facing coronavirus-related unemployment.
