Love Story performs at seniors' pre-Valentine's Day party
A singing duo, called Love Story, thrilled Annapolis Senior Activity center members at their Valentine's Day party.

D. and T.A., a singing duo known as the Love Story, thrilled listeners at the pre-Valentine’s Day party on Feb. 4 at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center.
Surrounded by seniors dressed in red and white, the two stood out in what they called “their uniform,” – black and white ensembles that included an elegant black dress with a white flower in her hair for D. and a black jacket, white shirt, and black and white shoes for T.A.
“We are retro entertainers,” T.A. said. “We focus on the ‘50s, ‘60s and Motown.” As they sang the classics, they asked the audience to snap their fingers and clap their hands. The audience obliged not only with the snapping and clapping, but with standing up to do the twist.

One couple, exhausted by the twist, did a little chair dancing for some of the other songs, but they took to the floor again for the grand finale, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
“They’re great! Fantastic! First time I’ve heard them and I’m sure they’ll be back,” one senior raved.

Other songs that caught the audience’s attention included “Baby I Love You,” “Be My Baby,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and “Unforgettable.”
As the seniors listened to some of their favorite songs they munched on chocolate kisses, strawberries, Valentine-shaped cookies with red sprinkles, and heart-shaped lollipops.
