Man, 50, Falls From Tree

A 50-year old man was found concious and breathing after falling from a 20-foot tree Sunday afternoon, officials from the Annapolis Fire Department (AFD) said.

According to an e-mail release from spokesman Tony Spencer, units from the AFD respond to the 200 block of Gross Avenue in Annapolis at about 2:59 p.m.

After arriving on the scene, paramedics found the man to be awake, Spencer said in the release. The patient was stabilized and transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore at about 3:20 p.m., the release states.

Spencer said there was no additional information at this time.
