Steakhouse Announces Relocation To Annapolis

Ruth's Chris Steak House has announced it will be relocating to the Annapolis Town Center, eyeing an opening for the fall.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Ruth's Chris Steak House is packing up and relocating to a new space at the Annapolis Town Center.

The announcement was made Thursday by the Federal Realty company.

Ruth's Chris will be taking over a 10,150-square-foot site that previously housed the Chop House. It will feature a second-floor dining area.

Officials are currently aiming for a late fall opening.

“Annapolis Town Center presented the ideal opportunity to open our restaurant to an easily accessible area where we know our diners are already spending time,” said Steve de Castro, a franchise owner of Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

However, the move means that Ruth's Chris will be closing its Eastport location, at 301 Severn Ave.

A closing date for the Eastport site was not immediately available.

Ruth's Chris operates a total of six locations in Maryland, two of which are situated in Anne Arundel County.
