Medevac Lands on Bay Bridge After Head-On Collision
Traffic was backed up for 5 miles in both directions of US Route 50 on Saturday.

Beach-bound travelers were stuck on US 50 Saturday after a serious crash on the Bay Bridge.
The three-vehicle crash was reported at 10:58 a.m. on Saturday, according to state transportation officials.
At 12:20 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority said delays were 5 miles in both directions. By 1:25 p.m., all lanes of the bridge were open.

The crash happened on the westbound side of the bridge, which was completely shut down, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
At least two people were injured in the head-on collision, one of whom was taken by medevac for treatment, according to WBAL, which showed the helicopter landing on the bridge before 11:30 a.m.

The Maryland Transportation Authority reported, advised drivers to expect delays.
