Mom Instigated Brawl At Glen Burnie Schoolyard: Police

A Baltimore mother was arrested after she allegedly instigated a fight among girls at a Glen Burnie school, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Baltimore mother faces criminal charges after she was reportedly caught on video instigating a fight between her daughter and another girl on a Glen Burnie schoolyard and kicking one girl in the head. Anne Arundel County Police have charged Delores Arlene Klemkowski in the assault.

Police say two girls agreed to meet Thursday to fight near Cromwell Elementary School. The fight was recorded and later uploaded to social media outlets. On the video one of the girls’ mothers, reportedly Klemkowsksi, can be seen instigating the fight, as well as kicking the other girl.

On Friday detectives identified and charged two girls as well as the mother. Additional charges against other parties are still being investigated, authorities say.

The fight was not affiliated with any after-school activities or school events, police say.

Klemkowski, 43, of the 200 block of Pontiac Avenue in Baltimore, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and affray.
