Midshipmen will buy gifts for Annapolis-area children this holiday season. This is part of the Naval Academy's Giving Tree campaign.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The U.S. Naval Academy will launch its annual Giving Tree campaign this week. The effort collects gifts for Annapolis-area children in need each holiday season.
Midshipmen from the Naval Academy’s 6th Company will decorate a Christmas tree and a Menorah in the Bancroft Hall rotunda using paper angel ornaments from The Salvation Army. Each decoration has the first name, age, gender, clothing sizes and wish list of a local child.
