New Tenant Takes Up Former Party City Location
Uncharted will be taking over the former Party City location in Anne Arundel County, marking its first base in Maryland.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Over a year since Party City closed up shop in Anne Arundel Co.'s Festival at Riva shopping center, a new tenant is making some moves.
The site of the former Party City location, at 2325 H Forest Drive, will now serve as the home of the Uncharted retail store.
Steven Crews, the marketing manager for Festival at Riva, told Patch that the store is aiming for a "mid-2026 open date."

Uncharted, a sister store to The Paper Store brand, is a lifestyle retail shop, where visitors can purchase a variety of products ranging from home decor, beauty and fashion accessories, among other items.
The store's arrival to the region marks its first location in the state of Maryland, with the majority of its bases found in the New England area.

The Annapolis Party City closed its doors for the final time at the Festival at Riva shopping center after the company submitted a second bankruptcy filing in December 2024.
