UPDATE: Severn Man Killed in Annapolis Shooting, Police Say
A Severn man was shot to death early Monday on Newtowne Drive in Annapolis, police say.

(Updated at 8:25 a.m. Jan. 17) ANNAPOLIS, MD — Authorities on Tuesday identified a man who was shot to death just after 3 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive. Annapolis Police say George Forrester, 40, of Severn was found by officers suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the area; he was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
There is no information on possible suspects and no indication whether police believe it was a random shooting.
Anne Arundel County Police have already recorded two homicides this year. Nathan Antoine Ford, 24, from the 2200 block of Conquest Way in Odenton, died from gunshot wounds after he was shot about 10:45 p.m. Friday, say police.

And on Jan. 2, Terry Paul Crouse, 55, from the 1800 block of Kimberwicke Place in Annapolis, was fatally shot outside his residence. No arrest has been made in either shooting.
