Noted Soprano Performs Free Concert

Local vocalist shares talents in Annapolis Jan. 9.

(Annapolis, MD-- January 5, 2015) -- Soprano Natalie Green of Arnold will present a voice recital at Heritage Baptist Church (1740 Forest Drive, Annapolis) Friday, January 9 at 7 pm. She will be performing music by Bizet, Brahms, Debussy, Liszt, Faure, de Falla, Bowles and Raymond Brown. Admission is free.

Green received her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from George Mason University in May 2014. She obtained her Bachelors of the Arts in Vocal Performance and a minor in Piano Performance from Radford University, and spent time studying in Angers, France before pursuing a graduate degree. Most recently, Natalie appeared in the role of La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) at the Amalfi Coast International Music Festival based in Maiori, Italy. She has also performed such roles as Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), and Carmen in Carmen (Bizet).
