School Board Makes Decision On Meal Prices
The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County unanimously voted to keep the price of school meals unchanged.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — School board members voted unanimously to keep meal prices unchanged, the district announced Friday.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the price of a full breakfast for all students will be $1.50, and lunches for elementary students will be $2.75.
The price of a lunch for students in secondary schools remains at $3.

A carton of milk remains at 55 cents, as reduced-price breakfast and lunches are unchanged for all students.

“I continue to be extremely proud of what our Food & Nutrition Services team does for families across our county,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell said.
“Director Monique Rolle and her team run an efficient and effective operation that results in families not having to worry about increased costs of school meals when there are so many other costs rising around them.”
The vote marks the 12th consecutive year that prices have not been increased by the school board.
