Odenton Drug Raid Yields Marijuana, Guns, Cash: Police

An Odenton man faces multiple drug and weapons charges after a raid at his house. Police said they had received tips about drug sales there.

ODENTON, MD — Drug paraphernalia, handguns, ammunition and cash were seized March 1 in an Odenton drug raid, Anne Arundel County Police say. Officers had received tips for several weeks that narcotics were being sold at a residence in the 400 block of Holiday Street.

Investigators executed a search warrant on March 1 and seized:

  • 111.75 grams of marijuana (with an estimated street value of $2,235)
  • 72.1 grams of THC wax (in containers); est. street value $2,100)
  • 88 grams of THC oil (est. street value $4,400)
  • 31 Suboxone strips (est. street value $775)
  • $950 cash
  • 2 loaded Glock handguns w/ magazines (9mm/10mm)
  • Several 9mm/10mm rounds
  • Several 12 gauge and 30-06 shells
  • Digital scale
  • CDS paraphernalia

Brandon Nicholas Young, 36, was in the residence and arrested. He was charged with CDS possession, distribution and weapons-related offenses, police said.
