Pasadena Homeowner Shot Man Making Threats: Police

PASADENA, MD — An argument between a Pasadena man and an acquaintance escalated to a deadly situation. On Sept. 19 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Anne Arundel County police officers responded to the 1400 block of Orr Court in Pasadena. A homeowner, 30-year-old Gregory Korwek, told officers that his friend Jeffrey Dickinson, 44, had called him, making threats, and was on his way to Korwek's home.

According to a police report, by the time officers arrived on the scene, Korwek advised them that he had just shot Dickinson. Officers attempted to save Dickinson, but he died in Korwek's driveway.

During their investigation, officers discovered that Korwek was a prohibited possessor due to a previous felony conviction and has been charged as such.
