Annapolis Police were alerted to the human remains in late September, near a wooded section of the park.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Human remains found late last month at Truxton Park are those of an Annapolis man who went missing in January, police said Tuesday.

A release issued by the Annapolis Police Department said the remains were of Nicholas Bradley Patterson, a 33-year-old man reported missing by his family on Jan. 21.

Authorities said an examination of the remains indicated there was no foul play.
