Permission to Come Aboard? Horizon Job Marketing Launches Site for Annapolis Community Boating

Free websites for local non-profits

When Horizon Job Marketing opened the doors of its new location in Annapolis, MD, it made a promise to the community. Not only would it offer a new perspective on driving customers to area businesses through targeted inbound marketing campaigns, it would also become a valued member of the local business community as a whole. Horizon’s idea for accomplishing this was unique: Work with local businesses, such as Toal Griffith + Ragulla LLC, to find local non-profits who could use a boost to their web presence and bring the resources together to provide that web presence to them completely free of charge.

The first organization to benefit from that partnership has taken delivery of their new site as Horizon Job Marketing is proud to announce the re-launch of Annapolis Community Boating’s website.

Annapolis Community Boating is a non-profit with an incredible belief: They feel that anyone, regardless of income, age, or position in life, should be able to experience the joy of boating. They manage a fleet of 35 boats that are made available, as well as the instructors necessary to teach their safe use and operation, to anyone who wishes to answer the call of the sea. If you would like to help support Annapolis Boating please contact Lorie Stout at 410-703-8248 or send her an email at info@annapolisboating.org.

The choice Annapolis Community Boating was a natural one. Art Radtke, President of Horizon Job Marketing, is an avid sailor, as are other members of the Horizon team. As Art would tell you, the mindset at Horizon is the mindset of a boat crew. We are a collection of competitive people who, to put it simply, love to come together as a team and win. Whether that win is a regatta on a beautiful spring day or five new customers for a client, the feeling of accomplishment is the same.

But, just as in a sailing victory, Annapolis Community Boating’s new site couldn’t have happened without the involvement of other people dedicated to seeing it succeed. Heike Heemann, of IdeaShare Business Coaching, and the CPA firm of Toal Griffith + Ragulla LLC, who came together with Horizon’s team of content writers, web developers, and SEO experts worked to craft the site. In the end, Annapolis Community Boating now has a site they can not only take pride in but that can also be used as a platform for bringing in new boaters as well as new donations.
