Update: Critical Missing Woman Found In Glen Burnie Area

A woman who has autism was missing overnight, her family says, but authorities confirm she was found on Tuesday morning.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County Police say a woman missing from the Glen Burnie area since Monday evening was found safe Tuesday morning. Cheyenne Victoria Boone, 24, was last seen at Marley Station Mall on the B & A trail, said Sgt. Jacklyn Davis.

Authorities said they couldn't say what made Boone a critical missing case, but her sister, Savannah Gerben, said in a Facebook post that Boone has autism. She was reportedly found with a boy she recently met and his mother, Gerben posted. "We are so beyond thankful for all of the angels out searching for her night and day, we couldn't have found her without all of your help," she wrote.

She was seen leaving Macy's going toward the B&A trail, then apparently spotted by Baltimore-Washington Medical Center, Gerben said. Search dogs lost her trail near the Harundale area.

"Please please keep helping to find her, she is so sweet and so naive she’s never away from me," her mother, Kit Schultz, wrote on Facebook. "She’s never been out by herself, she has no street smarts and I’m so scared. Please help me find my baby."

Boone has light blue jeans, a dark blue jacket and had a backpack with her. She has shoulder length brunette hair.

Family members said on social media they suspect she may have been with a teenager who reportedly told police he left Boone at a Sunoco station, then turned his phone off. Boone's phone is shut off.

The teen who may have been with Boone reportedly stays in abandoned buildings in the Marley Harundale area, which family and friends are searching, said Boone's mother, Kit Schultz, on Facebook.

If you see Boone, police ask you to call 410-222-8610.
