Santa, Tree Lighting Ceremonies Planned In Annapolis

There will be two different tree-lighting ceremonies in Annapolis complete with visits from Santa, special treats, live music and more.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Ring in the holiday season at one of the tree-lighting ceremonies planned in the Annapolis area. Annapolis Towne Centre's annual tree lighting will be held Nov. 23 starting at 6:30 p.m. with seasonal music, an appearance by Santa and tasty treats. Toys for Tots will be on site collecting new and unwrapped toys for children in need this holiday season.

The Grand Illumination will be Dec. 1 at 4:45 p.m. at the Annapolis Market House. Hosted by the Annapolis Jaycees, there will be live performances, ornament decorating, hot chocolate and candy canes. Santa will arrive at 6:30 p.m. to visit with the children. New toys and donations will be accepted for those in need.
