Second Suspect in Custody for Annapolis Teen's Shooting
An Annapolis man has been arrested for attempted murder after a 19-year-old was shot in the chest in October, police say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man on the run from police since the Oct. 22 shooting of a 19-year-old was taken into custody Thursday for attempted first- and second-degree murder and seven related charges, say Annapolis Police. Damario Jackson, 21, of Annapolis is the second suspect arrested and charged with the non-fatal shooting in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue.
He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $600,000 bond.
The first suspect arrested is Ke’maarian Blair, 18, of Annapolis, who is also charged with attempted first-degree murder and eight related criminal charges. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.

The victim, Ceonjay Thompson, was shot in the heart and hospitalized at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, the Capital-Gazette reports.
While officers were at the scene where shots were reported, personnel at Anne Arundel Medical Center notified police that Thompson arrived at the emergency room.

A K-9 search of the shooting scene led police to recover five handguns; one of the guns found was reported stolen in Calvert County.
