Share First Day Of School Photos With Anne Arundel County Patch

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Anne Arundel County Public Schools students return to the classroom this week.

Grades 1 to 5, 6 and 9 head back Monday. The remaining grades start class Tuesday. ECI, pre-K and kindergarten have staggered start times from Monday through Sept. 7. Those openings are posted at this link.

Patch wants to see pictures of your students on the first day of school. We will feature a few of our favorites in a photo gallery.

To participate, email your best picture to jacob.baumgart@patch.com with the subject line "School Photo." Participants must also include this statement in their email:

"I, [insert full name], took this picture, and I give Patch permission to publish it."

Don't forget to mention where you snapped the photo. Tell us who's in the picture, their grade, and their school.

Please only submit photos that you took personally. Horizontal pictures are preferred.

Photos are due Tuesday at noon. We will post a story with a few of our favorites Tuesday afternoon.
