Impressive Nature Photos
Patch readers have submitted some beautiful pictures of nature recently. Here are a few highlights.
David W. Heiser is first up with this shot of a box turtle in his front yard in North Potomac. Heiser said it "went bonkers over a fresh strawberry." He captured the moment with his iPhone 7 on May 16.

Mallory Furry sent us this photo of a fox in her yard in Marriottsville.
"We have 5 kits living under our neighbor's shed and they're so photogenic," Furry told Patch in an email. "Spring is my favorite time of year with all the baby animals."
Elise Handelman rounded out the submissions with this picture named “April showers brought May flowers.” The photo shows irises soaked after a rainfall.
