Slow Down Annapolis: Speed Camera Installed

Consider yourself warned: Annapolis Police say a speed camera will be installed on Duke of Gloucester Street Nov. 13.

The City of Annapolis has three speed enforcement cameras that can be positioned in school zones throughout the city. The school zones are marked with signs indicating speed is photo enforced in those areas.

An automated speeding citation carries a $40 fine; no points are assessed by MVA, says the city of Annapolis.

Citations are mailed to the vehicle’s registered owner.

The speed cameras operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday all year.
