St. John's Now Offering Courses to the Public

If you’re looking for some continuing education opportunities or just someone to discuss Nietzsche with, is now offering new programs to the public.

You can sign up for weekend workshops or semester-long classes. St. John’s tutors will lead seminar discussions of classic works, which include Melville’s Moby Dick, Thucydides’ The Peloponnesian War, and Nietzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil, according to a release.

You also can participate in fine arts workshops such as “The Craft of Story: Fiction” or “Beginning and Intermediate Pottery with Raku Firing.”

Classes are held on weekday evenings on the Annapolis campus and meet once a week for six to 10 sessions. Weekend seminars meet three times over the course of one weekend. Weekend fine arts workshops meet two to three times.

The classes begin Feb. 11, and the registration deadline is two weeks before the start of each class. Tuition ranges from $65 to $250.
