Store Employees Fired After Attempting To Unionize: Report
Two staffers who worked at the Lush Cosmetics location at Annapolis Mall say they were fired after attempting to unionize.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Two Lush Cosmetics employees said they were fired after attempting to unionize their store, according to Capital Gazette.
Theo Boswell and Jesse Epling had worked for at the store's Annapolis Mall site for about six months and on and off for two years, respectively.
The pair told Capital Gazette that efforts to unionize the cosmetics store started after the company's Harbor East Lush in Baltimore successfully unionized in March. Boswell and Epling said they were fired in April.

Lush stores have unionized under the United Food and Commercial Workers banner, demanding fairer wages, comprehensive medical coverage, protections from retaliation and better time off.
Of the hundreds of Lush branches, the Baltimore location was the latest to join the UFCW coalition.
