Storm Looks to Hit Annapolis During Holiday Travel
Heavy winds and lots of rain likely to cause problems for travelers on the East Coast.

While Maryland won’t be covered in snow for Christmas, a sizable storm system is gathering that could affect holiday travel from the Midwest to the Eastern Seaboard with heavy rains and wind gusts of 50 MPH.
While the storm is not expected to bring heavy snow to the Northeast as winter storm Cato did for Thanksgiving, flooding on the ground and delays in air travel are expected, according to Weather.com.
Although northern states may experience snow, meteorologists do not predict snow in Anne Arundel County. Instead, it will be a soggy week across Maryland, with rain chances starting at 70 percent on Monday, increasing to 90 percent on Christmas Eve day, and dropping back to 70 percent on Wednesday night.
