ANNAPOLIS, MD — A suspect who shot a 19-year-old in the buttocks has been arrested. The Annapolis Police Department reports that 17-year-old Von Franklin of Annapolis has been charged as an adult with attempted first degree murder along with nine other criminal charges related to the shooting. A 19-year-old man was walking in the 1800 block of Copeland Street Oct. 6 at 3:41 a.m. when he heard shots fired. He began to run and was hit in the buttocks by a bullet. Two parked, unoccupied vehicles also were struck by gunfire.
