Teen Charged in Beating, Robbery of 16-Year-Old
A 17-year-old from Annapolis has been charged as an adult with robbery and assault; up to six boys were involved.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis teenager has been charged as an adult with the beating of another youth, whose cell phone was stolen.
Detectives from the Annapolis Police Department on Thursday arrested Keith Goods, 17, of Annapolis and charged him as an adult with the robbery that occurred at Atwater Drive and Great Bay Avenue.
The 16-year-old male victim got off a school bus Jan. 7 and was approached by a group of five or six teenage boys wearing black masks. One of the suspects greeted the victim with a “fist pound” and then the rest of the group punched the victim and kicked him when he fell to the ground.

The victim’s phone was stolen.
Police say the teen was treated at Anne Arundel Medical Center for cuts to his head and a nose injury. Detectives identified Keith Goods as one of the suspects and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Goods was charged with robbery, first- and second-degree assault, and theft. He is being held on $15,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
