Temporary Park At City Dock To Be Considered By Panel On May 14
On Tuesday, an Annapolis historic preservation panel will consider Mayor Buckley's pre-application for a temporary park at City Dock.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Annapolis Historic Preservation Commission will consider Mayor Gavin Buckley's pre-application for a temporary park at City Dock, according to Capital Gazette.
The newspaper reported that Buckley — who has repeatedly expressed his desire to bring some change to City Dock — is scheduled to meet with the city's Chief of Historic Preservation about the application before it makes its debut before the commission on Tuesday.
Earlier this year, the mayor introduced the idea of building a European-style square with bocce and table tennis, according to the Gazette. It is not immediately known if the pre-application is similar to Buckley's earlier plans for temporary change at City Dock; however, it does mention a temporary park.
