Time Changes for Tonight's Board of Education Outreach
The Anne Arundel County Board of Education's community outreach event will be held Nov. 3 in Gambrills.

From the AACPS Communications Office:
The start time of the Board of Education’s first Community Outreach event of the school year, set for Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Makkah Learning Center in Gambrills, has been moved to 6 p.m.
Board members and Superintendent George Arlotto will provide a brief overview of the school system and its initiatives and then be available to answer questions. The event will run until 8 p.m. at the center, located at 814 Brandy Farms Lane.

The event is designed to allow parents and children who have questions about educational issues to get answers directly from Board members and the Superintendent.
This will be the first outreach event hosted by the Board during the current school year. Similar events have been held in each of the last two school years, and others are planned for later this year.
