Triathletes/Marathoners Give Up Medals for Sick Kids

Children from the pediatric unit at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) were the inaugural Maryland recipients of running medals from Medals4Mettle (M4M), a national non-profit organization that collects earned finishers’ medals from half marathoners, marathoners and triathletes, and presents these medals to patients fighting chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Knowing there are many in a tougher race than them, runners throughout the area donated more than 1,000 medals to the Annapolis Chapter of M4M through Charm City Run stores. If you have a medal you’d like to donate, please visit any area Charm City Run store.
