U.S. Navy Band's Fall Concert Series Starts Sept. 22
The Naval Academy Band starts its fall concert series Sunday, Sept. 22, at Maryland Hall.

ANNAPOLIS, MD —Starting this Sunday, Sept. 22, the Naval Academy Band will return to Maryland Hall to entertain and delight fans in a series of free concerts that begin at 4 p.m. The Sept. 22 concert will feature the chamber winds and brass ensemble.
Lt. Cmdr. Patrick K. Sweeten will conduct a program that will include works by Manuel de Falla, Hans Gál, Carl Reinecke and Giovanni Gabrieli. Musician 1st Class Aden Beery will be the featured soloist on tuba.
"We are very pleased to be partnering once again with Maryland Hall to produce free public performances for our community by the outstanding musicians of this premier military band,” Sweeten said in a statement.

Upcoming concerts at Maryland Hall will be:
- Sunday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. – Brass & Wind Chamber Music (Main Theatre)
- Friday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. - Navy Birthday Concert (Main Theatre)
- Sunday, Oct. 13 at 4 p.m. - Superintendent's Combo (Bowen Theatre)
- Monday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. - Veterans Day Concert (Main Theatre)
