Vehicles Limited At Anne Arundel Recycling Centers: Coronavirus
Motorists will be stopped at each facility's entrance gate to ensure proper social distancing of people.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — In an effort to help protect the safety of county residents and employees during the new coronavirus pandemic, no more than 10 vehicles are allowed to enter and be present at the county's recycling centers, effectively immediately. Motorists will be stopped at each facility's entrance gate to ensure proper social distancing of people. Wait times may exceed one hour at peak times and on Saturdays, county officials stated.
Residents are reminded that county recycling centers should only be used by residents who do not have curbside collection services or for items not collected at the curbside that cannot be reasonably stored at home for an extended period of time. Similarly, the Millersville Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility should be utilized for recycling and disposal of large loads of material only when essential to maintaining sanitary and healthy conditions within the community.
