A Glen Burnie woman died Thursday night when the car she was riding in swerved across the center line, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A Glen Burnie driver may have been driving drunk when his car crashed Thursday, killing a passenger, police say.

The two-car crash happened about 10:30 p.m. on Point Pleasant Road near Genine Drive in the Point Pleasant community of Glen Burnie.

A Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Todd Logan Hannahs, 40, of 999 Hilltop Road in Glen Burnie was westbound on Point Pleasant Road. Anne Arundel County Police say Hannahs’ car repeatedly swerved across the road before spinning out and crossing the center line.

Orme was taken to Harbor Hospital with minor injuries. Police say Hannahs was not injured.

Police faulted Hannahs for failure to remain right of center. Wet road conditions and alcohol use by the driver contributed to the accident.
