World's Largest Viking Ship Arrives In Annapolis

Billed as the world's largest Viking ship (well, the largest sailing in "modern times") the Draken Harald Hårfagre has come to Annapolis.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Billed as the world's largest Viking ship (well, the largest sailing in "modern times") the Draken Harald Harfargre has sailed into Annapolis. The wooden ship arrived Saturday and departs Tuesday. Ship tours and other events on Monday are paid.

The Viking boat is in Annapolis at the National Sailing Hall of Fame docks as part of its East Coast Tour.

Let crew members take you on a deck tour of Draken and learn about the ship and the adventure of sailing her.
Opening hours for deck tours: Monday: 10 am to 8 p.m. (last tour at 7:30 p.m.)

Tickets (also available on site): Adults (ages 16 and over) $12; child (ages 5 – 15) $6; Family Pack (includes 2 adults & up to 3 children) $30*Children ages 4 and under: free.

The ship will leave Annapolis at 10 a.m. Tuesday, and will move on to St. Michaels from Tuesday through Sept. 20.
