Anne Arundel County Police have offered at $10K reward for information that leads to an arrest in a Pasadena man's murder in Laurel.

PASADENA, MD — Anne Arundel County Police have offered at $10K reward for information that leads to an arrest in a Pasadena man's murder. Jose Alberto Funes, 22, of the 1000 block of Keppel Harbour in Pasadena, was shot to death March 2 in Laurel. Police received a report that someone was sick or injured, and found Funes inside a vehicle in the 200 block of Brock Bridge Road in Laurel.
Paramedics tried to treat the victim, but he had died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Funes suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
The department is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed Funes. Due to the passage of time, homicide detectives believe witnesses might be more likely to discuss the event than they were early on in the investigation.
