ANNE ARUNDEL, MD — With the filing deadline passed, the list of contenders vying for a county seat in the June primary election has been cemented.
In total, four Democrats and one Republican are running to take a stab at the county executive seat.
In the county's 3rd District, which encompasses the Anne Arundel area, a total of two candidates are up at bat for a council seat.

What To Keep In Mind Ahead Of The 2026 Primaries
- Early voting: June 11 through June 18
- Election Day: June 23
- Register to vote or update your registration by Tuesday, June 2.

Mail-In Ballots
- To receive mail-in ballots by mail or fax, file a request by June 16.
- To receive mail-in ballots online, file by June 19.
- To receive mail-in ballots in person, request at your local board. Ballots must be postmarked by June 23 to meet the submission deadline.
