5 Things to Do Over Spring Break
Egg hunts, baseball games and more are on the schedule for spring break week.

Spring fever is setting in. Kids are on spring break, warm weather is on the horizon and Easter is less than a week away.

Check out a local sporting event:
athletics are in full swing on Wednesday. The varsity baseball team has games at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at CHS. The softball team is also in action on Wednesday; they play at home at 1 p.m.
If you’re looking to watch some lacrosse during spring break, check out Tick Neck Park on Thursday. The girls lacrosse team has an all-day tournament on the field hockey fields. The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m.

Go to a Baysox game:
The Bowie Baysox kick off their season on Thursday evening. Since kids are on spring break and don’t have to wake up early for school the next day, it is the perfect time to catch a baseball game. See the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 p.m. Thursday.
Celebrate Easter at the Big Vanilla:
The in Pasadena is hosting an Easter Splash Friday from 5:30-7 p.m. Bring your kids to the Big V for a chance to visit with the Easter Bunny, swim and hunt for Easter eggs in the pool.
Go for a more traditional egg hunt:
will host an egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday. The church will also host an Easter Vigil at 8 p.m.
Enjoy a day at the park:
Pasadena is fortunate enough to have lots of parks, which offer a perfect opportunity to play outside. Take your kids to Lake Waterford Park and let them play on the playground. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a day away from the house.
